Overview
The goal was to design a website that explains complex customs procedures in simple language and leads users toward contact or a quote request. Key elements included a duty calculator as a lead magnet, an extensive FAQ and knowledge base, and strong CTA placement. In a later phase, we also built a web application for exchanging documents between the agency and clients, with email notifications about case status changes.
Problem
Before the redesign, the site was fragmented and unintuitive: services were described chaotically, there were no clear paths for people importing for the first time, educational content was limited, and calls to action were weak. Users got lost in the structure, abandoned their visit, and the website did not generate new clients effectively.
Solution
We built a fast Next.js website with a content architecture organized by topics and industries (landing page → service categories → thematic subpages), added an interactive duty calculator covering product value, transport, and CN code, created an FAQ section and knowledge base with internal linking for SEO, and introduced clear CTAs such as phone, email, form, and a sticky contact bar. In parallel, we delivered a document exchange panel with email notifications on status changes.
Business impact
↑ Organic traffic grew to several thousand users per month after a few months, the site loads quickly and reliably, and the number of leads from the duty calculator and FAQ increased noticeably. Case handling time was also reduced thanks to automatic notifications about document statuses.

FAQ
Why did the customs agency need more than a standard brochure website?
Because the service is complex, educational content matters, and users often need quick support or a quote path. The website had to combine explanation, lead generation, and document workflow.
Can a customs website really support SEO and lead generation?
Yes. In this case, the duty calculator, FAQ, knowledge base, and topic-based content structure created a strong foundation for organic visibility and conversions.
What was the role of the document exchange panel?
It streamlined communication between the agency and clients, reduced manual follow-up, and improved transparency thanks to automated email notifications.
